Is the free plan really free?: Yes. The free plan has no time limit and needs no card, and it is not a cut down demo: your whole portfolio, your projections, your goals and two of the reports run on it.
How do I know the numbers are right?: Every calculation runs through one engine, so a chart, a report and an export always show the same figure. That engine is checked row by row against a separately built reference model, and the whole set of checks runs before any change ships. Tax rules are dated and kept current as they change, so an Australian budget year lands as an update rather than as a number that quietly went stale. Where something is not yet modelled the app says so instead of showing a figure that looks right.
Who built Freeholt, and do they use it?: It is built by property investors who needed it themselves. The founders run their own portfolio on it, across 5 countries, with the rental income, the loans, the retirement funds and the tax of each one. Every tool here was tested on that portfolio before it was offered to anyone else, and the cross border cases in the engine are there because they had to be solved for real.
How does the 7 day trial work?: Open any paid tool and you will be shown the terms. Accept them and every paid tool opens for 7 days. There is no card and nothing to cancel: when the week is up your account goes back to Free on its own, and everything you entered stays where it is. It is one trial per account, and export is the one thing it does not include.

Which countries does Freeholt model?: Every country listed on the Countries page. Each one shows what is modelled, what is approximated and what is left out, with the date its rules were last reviewed. One portfolio can hold property in several countries, each taxed by every country that taxes it.
Does Freeholt need my bank login?: No. You type the figures in, or import a statement file you choose. There is no bank connection.
What happens to an uploaded statement?: It is read for the figures you choose to keep, and the file itself is not kept. Its account number is never stored: only a one way key made from it, so the same account can be matched next time, and its last 4 digits are shown.
Can I take my data with me?: Yes. Settings has a Download my data button on every plan that gives you a complete JSON copy of everything you entered. Premium adds spreadsheet and report exports and a restore flow. Account deletion is self serve on every plan, with retained account records limited to legal and operational needs.
